Feedback from Coral (Spain) - Turkey 1-7th april 2022

The whole experience in the Cappadocia Erasmus + project was very enriching. It was a great opportunity to meet new people, to know other cultures and to learn how young people, the future decision makers of this society, think and believe they could afford common issues related with inmigration and social inclusion in countries all over europe. In recent years, according to the UN Refugee Agency, there are 6.6 million Syrian refugees worldwide. Also there are other countries on the border or close to Turkey that are passing through unstable political situations that force their citizens to escape for safety , such as Afghanistan, Iran or Ukraine.

That makes the country of Turkey, without any doubt, the perfect emplacement to treat these issues. We were lucky enough in this project to have representatives from Turkey, Italy, Russia, Romania and Spain, but indirectly also from India and Pakistan. We created for a few days a safe place to discuss common issues, but also others very unusual and specific to some regions. During these days we were able to talk about politics, inclusion, conflict, education and youth… in a nutshell we were able to share and learn from each other.
