IO2-Educational Pathway to prevent youth radicalization Toolkit English
Educating new generations in building a non-radical environment is a strategic partnership for young people. This project is aimed at young people who need to become stronger, social workers who work with young people who are at risk of exclusion. Social workers will equip these young people with tools and methodologies that encourage critical thinking and prevent radicalization.
An important impediment in today's European society is the issue of radicalization of youth. Nowadays, the road from a radicalized young man to a violent man is very short. By creating the INFLUENCE-Youth project, we aim to encourage the creation of an inclusive and resilient community.
This toolkit is structured as follows:
I. Challenges the phenomenon of radicalization young people.
II. The theoretical frame of relevance instruments for prevention radicalization
a) Forum Theater
b) Media Literacy
c) Digital storytelling
III. Workshops With the help of this set of tools we want to present an innovative perspective for the prevention of the phenomenon of radicalization of young people. This project targets young people / social workers and trainers, showing them how NFE Methodologies can be combined with Forum Theater, Media Literacy and Digital Storytelling. The project promotes awareness, empathy, tolerance and critical thinking.
